Hotel Noir is committed to assisting guests who have mobility issues. Working with an old building has certain restrictions but we have implemented the following measures and would love to hear how you think we are doing.
We strongly recommend letting us know your needs in advance, so we can take the necessary steps to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. If you arrive without informing us of any requirements, we will do our best, but cannot guarantee we will be able to deliver solutions to all your needs.
Entrance to the Building – from the front:
Blue badge holders can park at the front of the Hotel on Clifton Green, this parking is restricted to 6pm-8am only for other vehicles. This parking is on a public highway and cannot be reserved.
There are 2 steps to the front entrance.
Entrance to the Building – from the back:
For guests with wheelchairs or reduced mobility we recommend using the carpark entrance, which has a fixed ramp down from the carpark (or 2 large stairs with a handrail), and a small mobile ramp to access the lip of the doorways.
Toilet facilities
Our toilets are on the ground floor and are accessible by wheelchair, although the facilities have not been fully adapted for wheelchair users.
Bedrooms
We have 8 bedrooms on the ground floor, 3 are level access. We have a number of walk-in showers, a shower stool on request, and shower hand rails in certain rooms. Ground floor accommodation MUST be booked in advance to guarantee availability.
There is no lift available to upper floors. All stairs have hand rails.
Bar & Restaurant Area
These are off the main reception area with no steps inside the hotel and are accessible by wheelchair. With prior warning we can adjust tables to make better space and accessibility and reserve this area exclusively for you.
